Breezy Hill is where Violet Rowena Malcom-Tapper was born. She was a woman of extraordinary generosity โ a person who made certain that no one around her went without. Family, friends, neighbors, strangers: all of them were fed. She lived 106 years, and she gave of herself for every one of them.
The hot sauce that carries her birthplace's name was developed by her sons, Ivor Tapper Jr. and Andrew Tapper โ men who inherited that same instinct for taking care of people through food. Their recipe, crafted from hand-selected Scotch bonnet peppers and family tradition, is the foundation of every bottle we make.
Breezy Hill Pepper Co. is her legacy in a bottle. The heat is hers. The love behind it is too.

The Scotch bonnet is not just a pepper โ it's a cultural icon. Named for its resemblance to the Scottish tam o' shanter hat, it's one of the hottest peppers in the world, and the defining flavor of Jamaican cuisine.
What makes the Scotch bonnet remarkable isn't just the heat โ it's the flavor underneath. Fruity, floral, and complex. Breezy Hill Pepper Co. lets that flavor lead, with the heat right behind it.
Our flagship sauce. Pure Scotch bonnet heat with bright citrus and island herbs. The one that started it all.
A slightly cooler, more complex blend โ perfect for those who want the Jamaican flavor profile without maximum heat.
Limited-batch seasonal releases featuring heritage peppers and unique Jamaican ingredient combinations.
"She made sure everyone was fed. We're just carrying that forward โ one bottle at a time."
