Upper Loft Enterprises, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website upperloftenterprises.com and related digital properties (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our Site or interact with our services.

By using our Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Site.

When you visit our Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. To count visits, we also use Simple Analytics, a cookieless analytics service — see Section 5.

  • Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Site and conducting our business — our website host Netlify, Inc. (which serves the Site and stores form submissions) and Google LLC (Google Workspace, which handles our email) — subject to appropriate data-protection terms.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Upper Loft Enterprises, LLC, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our Site does not use cookies, local storage, or similar tracking technologies. To count visits, we use Simple Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service hosted in the EU: it sets no cookies, stores no personal information, and does not track you across sites; it briefly processes your IP address to derive non-identifying statistics (such as country of visit) and then discards it. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. All fonts and media on the Site are self-hosted.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 10. Jakalooki Products

Jakalooki™ is offered as two separate products, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Jakalooki — Solo-Player (App Store app): a single-player card game that stores your player profile, preferences, and game scores locally on your device. It does not collect or transmit personal information, does not require an account, and contains no advertising or analytics. It is governed by the Jakalooki Solo-Player Privacy Policy.
  • Jakalooki — Multiplayer (web service and mobile apps): an online, account-based multiplayer service that does collect personal information — including account details, profile information, city-level location, and purchase records. It is governed by the Jakalooki Multiplayer Privacy Policy, not this policy.
